Rich was a well-known and well-liked member of Local 419 who was forced to retire from the Department after contracting this terrible disease.  His young family is experiencing financial hardship, because of mounting medical bills.  This event is an attempt to ease some of that burden and give Rich the chance to say thank you and farewell to all of you who have, in various ways, supported him throughout these difficult times.
